This work examines the rapid urbanisation and environmental changes in Ireland, and its impact on the loss of green spaces. With that as my driving force I designed a product that aims to conserve and safeguard nature by integrating it into our daily lives.

This goal is accomplished through a combination of Hydroponics, a conventional plant watering method, and state-of-the-art 3D printing technology to create self-watering plant pots that support plant growth on the surface of the ceramics.

This work is designed to cater to the specific needs of cramped urban apartments and busy lifestyles. My aim is to make a difference in the lives of individuals residing in cities by emphasizing the significance of nature and providing them with an opportunity to reconnect with the natural world.
